What we have to offer:

Enjoy the rustic life under the midnight sun. Definitely the best view across the river and town while roasting your marsh mellows over the fire pit. A unique bath house that will make you yearn for more and a common cabin with possibly the largest library of any hostel anywhere. Cooking, bathing and the sauna as well as heating in the common cabin are all done with fire wood - sharpen your skills sawing and splitting fire wood...!!

There are many activities to do in Dawson City, including: Canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, gold panning, marsh mellow roasting, splitting fire wood, blue berry picking / drinking the sour toe cocktail, gambling at Daimond Tooth Gerties or better still - watching people loose money, Can Can dancers :) , watching free videos at the visitor centre, listining to recitals of poetry by Robert Service, watching the Yukon River flow by, looking for gold nuggets, picking wild roses, sitting around the fire pit, watching wild life from bears to porcupines, chasing after a squirrel that has stolen your sandwich, watch the sun set and rise within three hours, hike up the Midnight Dome, watch the Northern Light in Sept or simply do nothing and watch the Ravens chase an Eagle.

The hostel is easy to spot from the ferry on the left bank of the river - drive up the first dirt road on your left. By air - Take the airport shuttle to town and as above. Check in at the office first for possible help with the hostel pick-up. The new bus service Klondike Experience will drop you off at the visitor centre.
